Today is apparently National Girlfriend Day. Coincidentally, I just finished and was planning on uploading my Choose-Your-Own-Adventure pony-story …dating sim (I guess? …dating sim) game today, as well. Technically-speaking, you should be 18 or older (or a legal adult in your country before reading it, although I would personally recommend not reading it unless you are 26 or older). “In this Choose-Your-Own-Adventure story game, you are a human who, after clicking to start the story, somehow find yourself in Equestria. Twilight Sparkle is passing through. Are you dapper enough to woo Twilight? (Or would you rather try to become a pony — the ultimate goal of every human who ends up in Equestria?) Different choices lead towards six different endings — sometimes rather abruptly — with four different bonus pictures for the “Good” ending. Every page has at least one image. The total length of all the text in all of the options of the story is well over 10,000 words.
So, if you need a pony girlfriend to keep you company on this day, this may be the game for you.

I created this Choose-Your-Own-Adventure story game in Twine. I would suggest just playing it to see what it’s like, but if you want a little more of a description …it’s basically a game where you somehow end up in Equestria as Twilight Sparkle is trotting on by. You are then presented with a series of dialogue options for the scenario, which will lead you into different scenarios and pony paths. I tried to give the reader/player (I’m not sure which it would be considered) as many dialogue options as I could so that they could fully explore any given path. The trade-off of giving so many options, however, was that not every branch goes into as much depth as I would have perhaps liked. I did, however, explore in pretty good depth two of the main branches. Images were a big part of the game. I spent a lot of time finding images to fit the story.
So, please be kind to Twilight on National Girlfriends Day, because even if she’s not your girlfriend specifically, she is probably somepony else’s.
